Commercial Mortgage Resources is a commercial loan correspondent and commercial loan broker that concentrates on arranging loans $500,000 and over on the main menu of commercial real estate. Loans are available for income producing, owner-occupied, and development property. The firm was founded in 2002 by Bill Armstrong and based in Grand Rapids, Michigan until 2008 when it moved to High Point, North Carolina. The Triad area was selected due to its central location and easy access to cities throughout North Carolina and beyond. Bill has been in the commercial loan business for over 25 years. He started as Director of Development for a division office of Edward Rose and Sons, Detroit, Michigan, one of the nation’s largest developer/owner/manager of apartment communities. Bill was responsible for the development and financing of apartment communities in Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Missouri. Bill later became a joint venture partner with Edward Rose in development/build projects. Following his career at Edward Rose, Bill was involved in real estate syndications with The March Company, Boston, Massachusetts acting in an advisory and General Partner capacity where he originated acquisitions and arranged debt financing on transactions in the Midwest. Bill possesses an understanding of the underwriting principles and requirements for successfully arranging commercial loans, and has many lender relationships within the mortgage banking community. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University and completed several courses toward his Masters of Business Administration at Western Michigan University. |
